Applying for the 2nd round of PPP from the Cares Act

Congress recently passed a $900 billion COVID-19 relief bill that pumps billions of dollars back into the popular Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). The bill that ended in early August of 2020 now has new life with a stronger focus on small businesses.

New Extended EIDL Loan Application

Now that the new $900 billion dollar Covid-19 relief bill has been signed, the SBA has officially announced the EIDL extension through December 31st, 2021. Businesses can now access these funds if they have been affected by Covid-19 or other disasters such as flooding and wildfires. An allotted  $197 billion is now available for working capital to small businesses, non-profits, and agricultural businesses with low-interest rates and other special provisions.

Extended Pandemic Unemployment Assistance

Round 2 of the Cares Act: Pandemic Unemployment Assistance Extended for Independent Contractors. This legislation extends unemployment assistance not only for employees but also for independent contractors and other self-employed individuals for an additional 11 weeks.
